FOUNDERS' DAYYY

Location: Desktop
Mood: Worried

Delia's gonna get me off the computer any moment now. So I'm gonna type like a bullet train.

Founders' Day: the coolest day in the RGS calendar. This year, it was special. It was at night!! Yesterday.

After school, I went with HT to Bishan Library and FINALLY found my wonderful Deltora Shadowlands! Read book 2: The Isle of Illusion. It's still as cool as ever :D:D:D

Well, yup. Then it was piano lesson, in Toa Payoh. It was good. No scolding. I hate Bach's Fugues. Argh.

And then, dinner at Mac's, sponsored by my mother, then back to school again! This year's show was dazzling. What else do you expect of a night show? There were lasers, strobe lights, glowing outfits and masks (coughcough strings ensemble coughcough), glittery glitzy costumes, and all sorts of dances :D

One complaint I do have is for the skit. The storyline was just plain cliched. Our school's proud history. Why couldn't they give it some spice? I mean...they did, but what I mean is to the telling of the story itself. Maybe from a modern-day RGS pupil's point of view, instead of from a Victorian woman's. That'd be way cooler.

Otherwise, wonderful show, my friends! I think all the rehearsing paid off. Great job, performers, I salute thee.

Funniest moment: when the whole school forgot the words of "Pass it On" verse 2, and all sang "nananananana" together...WONDERFUL effect.

OR when we started the Birthday Song too late and ended up having to rush (and also holding the "S" in "RGS" and going out of sync with the music...that was LOLZ)

And what better way to end a school event than with cheers (which always ends with "Unite", which we always end up cheering at twice the speed we started with)?

Eventful day. Went home at ten-something, and got to type Epic Thing.

Ah, our Learning Journeys week is next week. I DUN WANNA GO TO YOG LEARNING CENTRE...

Starting to feel real guilty for staying on the computer so long. Will get off...NOW!!!
