There's a few naming conventions and cultures featured here. The most common form you'll have here is that of traditional Solan names coupled with Solan vocational surnames (e.g. Marchena Levanda, from an old tax collector family). Solan was constructed as a fusion of Latin languages with some of modifications and additions, so they'll look familiar in that sense.
Some others, being of mixed Solan race, also carry traditional Solan names--though their paternal bloodlines are much older than the Solan race itself, and these individuals still carry Lorico clan identity tag words as their surnames (e.g. Talia Arbel, whose ancestors were whitewater rafters).
Yet others (e.g. Gedel Alemin, not shown here), with families either stiffly traditionalist or simply proud of their heritages, have names originating from the ancient Hies Loricoda to complement their Lorico clan identity tag surnames. Hies Loricoda is purely a constructed language, so names drawn from its lexicon should bear little to no resemblance to real-world names.
Also as a stylistic choice (just as children in the real-world present day are given direly outmoded names that have fallen so far out of use that they have taken on an air of exoticism), modern families with Solan surnames may name their children with words and terms from Hies Loricoda (e.g. Hela Signo, where "hela" means "left gate").
The surname Legars originates from the Codega race much farther north, whose territory has currently become the republics of Gieron and Orsanda, among other smaller states (Eldon Legars is of an immigrant family that came to Astra two generations back).
