Just a random post.

Location: At home, father's laptop
Mood: Distracted

Whoa. I keep getting to use this computer nowadays.
Anyway, I just read about this orchestra composition competition for people under 35 years old. I was thinking of joining......until I found out that you need at least a diploma. I don't een have theory grade 5 yet!!!!!!!!! GRAAAAR. Unfair.

Remember the novel? I am at page 61 now! I write fast, don't I~

Yippee! Aidi liked her composition!!!!!! :D:D:D I am very HAPPY!!! And I got Vivian a present too! Actually, I drew her a present.

Art Club today! I finished my "ancient vase"-according to Jingjie, and started my final sculpture, which is called Balance. I showed it to LT, and she said that it looks like a table on top of a wastepaper basket, with pencils and rulers on top. Great description, LT!

So now, I am working on Yunan's composition. Hope she likes it too. Should be doing Japanese now...

My PFT rocked!!!!!

Location: Father's laptop

Mood: Happyhappyhappy

Yes, the title says it again. I am soooooo happy about my PFT scores!!!!!!

IPU: 16. (B) You know what? I though it was 16 for A, so I did 16. Then I found out it was >16. Grrrrrr.

Shuttle Run: 10.7 sec. (A) Yay!!!! but my personal best is (lousily) 10.6. Oh well, I'll do better next time.

Sit-ups: 32. (A) Not my best (whih is actually 36), but still, I got A!!

Standing Broad Jump: 208 cm. (A) GRAAAAR. I missed my goal by 2 cm. It's so weird. I did 198 cm for the first try, and everyone around me was going "waaah", but I was crying.

Sit and Reach: 38 cm. (C) My arch-enemy. My shoulder muscles are still hurting like dunnowat right now.

Anyway, it means a total tally of 4 As, 1 B and 1 C!!! I am geting Gold for the 5th consecutive year :D

MEP Harmony test tomorrow. Hope I can pass. Not studying.

ORA food and funfair 2 days ago.

Location: At home, dad's laptop
Mood: Sleepy and hoping I don't get caught

The title says it. It was a nice long morning at RI last saturday. I went at 7.30 am, and helped RGS art club set up the stall. I painted the banner! I wasn't too confident about it, but at least it could be seen from he other end of the hall :)

Yay I bought a rose from basketball. From yan ping actually. How can I refuse??? Harh. Well, my dad didn't kill me. In fact, he told me to quick put it in some water. It's still alive and greeeen :D

I watched a vegetarian video. And now, I have converted to vegetarianism. Seriously, that video convinced me. Shan't tell you everything. Thing is that it converted me.

Oh yes, AF "lost" her handphone. And we went alllll over the place (including senior block, which was very empty) looking for it. And in the end, it turned out to be in her father's car. Graaar. My feet hurt. Never mind, we had a very good chat. And fun doing random love triangles. We had something like Stella from Winx Club and Serra from Fire Emblem going after Nick the Treecko.

Ohwell. In the end, I only painted 2 people for the art club booth--HT and Yan Ping, and I earned art club $3. Sighs. But it was fun, and I wasn't much good anyway.

Oh yeah! I can't believe this! The 2.4 is over! The run, in case you don't get it. I managed 14.05!!!!!! Ha! Improved by 34 seconds!!! Plus I was the 5th fastest in class :D or so I know. I don't know how the OM people did.

Just finished a piano composition this morning. It's Aidi's birthday present, entitled Winter River. Hope she likes it. She likes minor key pieces, so it's in minor key. :) Happy birthday, Aidi, the music genius!!!

And it's Vivian'sbithday tomorow. Ack. I didn't get her a present!!!!!xD Ooh great. Hope you don't mind, viv!

About my novel, I'm on page 41 now. Last post was like...10 days ago. Wow, I' writing at about 3 and a quarter A4 pages a day! That's fast. Since my handwriting has recently shrunk, and there are about 1500 words on each page, it means about 4500++ words a day! hahahahahahaha!!!

Yeah, life's good right now. Exams are coming, but I don't really care. Just doing my best is enough for me. And I have my friends to accompany me, and stories and music to write!

So good night! I should be doing my lit pt. bye bye!

Back today!

Location: At home

Mood: Bored-ish and distracted

I am back (and I wonder why I keep getting to blog so often nowadays)

I forgot to talk about the last episode of Oban Star-Racers! It ROCKED. Know how it ended? Here's a summary. It's nice, even for someone who hasn't been following the series.

Molly went into the Temple of the Heart with Jordan and Aikka, and searched for the pyramid which they would use to crown Molly the new ruler of Oban. However, Canaletto, the corrupted ruler of Oban 20,000 years ago, was already there, and he fought the three off easily, killing Aikka and almost killing Jordan.

Then, he told Molly the truth of how she was his, a possesion of his, and that it was he who led her to win the races and claim the right to be the new ruler of Oban.

So now, he entered her body, and led her to the pyramid to be crowned, intending to rule Oban again through her. But at the last moment, Jordan stopped him by reaching the pyramid before she did, and in turn becoming the ruler in her place.

With the powers he had, he brought all the dead racers, including Aikka, back to life. Then they said their last farewells with each other and returned to their homes.

Great story, isn't it? It was really really good!!!! My conclusion: it is THE best TV series I've ever watched before!!!!

Oh well. I went training for the 2.4 km yesterday. I am proud to say that my 400m timing is 74 seconds and my 800m is 180 seconds! :D I had no idea I was so good!!!

Yeah, I know lots of people think that that is lousy, but it's seriously good to me!

I got my right index finger stuck in the folding table today, and it's now got a deep cut. I can't bend it anymore. So that means no piano and guzheng for a while... :( Argh! MEP practical is this thursday!!!!!!!! Nooooooooo.......

Sports Fest.

Location: At home
Mood: Sleepy, happy, a little scared

Yeasssh! It was The RGS Sports Fest today!

I went to school for our Literature project first. We only talked for...ten minutes? Then I composed some music on the 208 computer, before being caught by that **** security guard. What's a security guard doing patrolling our Block E anyway? Breach of internal security!

Ah well, the song I was composing is a gift to someone, hope she likes it. I think it's my personal best :D

Okay. Sports Fest!!!
The events were great. So exciting, especially the relays!!! I love relays.
Oh yeah, the Richardson cheerleaders ROCK!!!! They won again this year! :DDDDD Their routine was so coooool.

And guess what, after like 6 years of Hadley being the winner, Waddle has won the Sports Fest!!!!!!!!! Yes yes, I sound very disloyal, but I like Waddle! They're such a nice house. My mum's in it too! :D Go Waddle! :D

Hm. More stuff to talk about? I ate a big packet of potato chips for lunch. I am SICK of potato chips now. Especially garlic and onion flavoured.

I am up to page 28 of my new novel (it's my sixth one, anyway). Going well. I estimate it'll be around 70 A4 pages.

Argh, our 2.4km run is next wednesday! Help help!!!!! I want an A this year!

Still no Maple yet. No Fire Emblem, No Pokemon.
Just schoolwork, writing and composing.

Well, at least the last two are fun.

Oh well, I shall stop writing now. Bye!

Kukup trip today!

Location: At home

Mood: Happy and sleepy

Today we went to Kukup! It rocked. I shall summarise the trip in a few paragraphs.

We took a bus. Going through the Malaysia customs was easy (for Rachel and I) because we're Malaysians! :D

We got a boring tour guide. She was nice though. Yan Ping and I fell asleep on the bus (I know lots of others did too). I slept all the way to the end of the journey.

Then we went to the fish farms in the middle of the sea, and saw archer fish (!!!!!), pufferfish, horseshoe crabs and others. Then we ate a nice lunch.

We went to buy stuff. It started raining, and a few smart people (including me) ran to the bus (and got drenched). We waited for a long time, until the bus came.

We froze into ice cubes on the bus. Then we went back to Singapore and went back to school.

What a wonderful day it was. What a great place Kukup is!!!

Plus there were no mosquitoes!

21.3.08

Very late at night...

Location: At home
Mood: Sleepy and Happy (about lots of things, see below)

It's currently 11.49 pm. I'm not usually on the com this late, but my father allowed me today. I'm proofreading Blood of Magic Chapter 4 (formerly known as Third Life, formerly known as The First Guild Quest). It's coming along nicely.

Yippee! Our field trip to Kukup in Malaysia is this coming Monday!!!!!! My sis said that the bus trip will take 5 hours. Which means 5 hours of nothing but...er...nothing. Yay!

And the second last episode of Oban Star-Racers is TOMORROW!!!!! Good or bad, I don't know. It's great to know that *at last* we're going to know what's going to happen to Molly, the other racers and Oban. But it also means the series is ending............

Oh well. All series must end, right? So I'll be looking forward to more good shows! And the field trip!

Good, I've finished chapter 4. That didn't take so long!

Oh no, my father's stopping me. No poem yet. So bye!

20.3.08

Back again (in school)! Just back from a field trip!

Alright. I am adding a new segment.

Location: School library

Mood: Not much of anything

Today was our trip to Sungei Buloh! It was not much fun, but very interesting. We got to see crabs, mudskippers and water monitors (And the usual stuff you find in a mangrove swamp). And not to mention the mosquitoes. My legs are still itchy. Bleagh. But I managed to ignore them, and I saw lots of interesting stuff.

Only downside (other than the mosquitoes) is that there was a worksheet to do. I didn't finish it because it was such a bother. We ended up eating a snack at the cafeteria there before going back to school. Actually, I didn't buy anything. I ate some of Yan Ping's Mamee thingo. And ffive of us began a discussion about siblings (cos we all have siblings).

Anyway, I just did another Fireworks pic in school. It's my personal favourite, other than the duck and the blog title. Here:

Hope you like it as much as I did.

Okay. I am going for another field trip soon. So I'll be going shortly. Yan Ping, Etinne and Rave (I mean Kimberly) are already gone. Wonderful. So I'll be going too. Bye!

17.3.08

Argh, another post today (wow)

I am posting again, back at home now! I'm doing my English personal exposition, and boy, is it FUN! I chose the subject of bookings in school being ineffective, 'cos it is! I keep on getting booked, and I'm still getting book. I'm sick of it! I get booked for EVERYTHING, from shoes to PE attire to forgetting homework. I even got booked for eating a Mentos! xD Unlucky me.

Ah well. Here are some pics from my latest adventures on Victoria Island:

My screen had a problem, hence all the lines.

There were these King Slimes popping up all over the place! I killed some and got loads of exp and cakes :D

And here's me at Thailand Floating Market with my new look. I bought some new equipment!
You know, I can't wait to finally get to level 30. I'm already level 28, just a little bit more...
So, that's about all. I'm going to play again in the June holidays, and by then, I WILL be a Spearman!!!
Anyway, here's the link to the Smashing...Live! tracks: http://gallery.raurusreturn.net/thumbnails.php?album=66
Special thanks to Rauru's Return.
Bye!

I told you I'd be back!

I am back again. Now I'm in school, and I can say some more!

I discovered this CD called Smashing...Live! with orchestrated versions of loads of Nintendo songs! I can't believe it. The music is Awesome!!! I loved Planet Corneria, Fountain of Dreams, Fire Emblem and Yoshi's Story. Man, they're all so nice! I immediately fell in love with this CD!

Today, I did 5 Fireworks pictures in school, cos we had loads of free time between our lessons (it's learning journeys week!), and I shall post them up here!

Meanwhile, I shall talk more!

Yep, Oban Star-Racers is ending soon...last 2 episodes already! I am so positively going to watch, and I shall NOT miss any of it AT ALL!Oban Star-Racers episode 23 was just wonderful. I recorded the whole soundtrack of that episode. The background music at the end is soooo nice! You know, the part where Molly changed her mind about not racing? Oh, that part made me cry!

BTW, what do you think of this duck? I rushed it, seriously. That's why the river's got brown bits.

Oh yeah, I just went for Theory Grade 5 last Saturday. I feel so STUPID. I thought the paper was only 1 hour, so when the teacher told us we could leave after 40 minutes, I rushed it and left at 45 minutes. And it turns out the paper was 2 HOURS LONG. Bleagh. I feel STUPID.

Oh well, I think I can still get a Merit. When I rush, I always get merit (practice papers, of course). But I want a Distinction!!! Waaaaaaah

So that's about it. I've gotta go. Just one more pic...

This is Lyn from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword, in case you can't recognise her.

16.3.08

End of holidays...

It's the last day of the holidays. No more Maple, no more library, no more eating at home. But hey, I get to see my friends again!

I can't believe it. HT's not coming to school for 2 weeks. She's sick. I cried. *sniff sniff* Can't wait for her to come back.

Oh yes, did I say that I'm a fan of Oban Star Racers too? Cos I am. And that show rocks!!!!! I mean ROCKZZZ!!! It's got just the right balance of action and emo scenes, and the racing is so exciting and dizzying and all that! it's officially my FAVOURITE TV show!!!

And one more thing before my mum kills me: I'm level 28 on Maple now! AT LAST. So I'll blog later, cya!

PS I'll be changing the blog title soon.

1.3.08

Founder's Day today!

Yep, our school had founder's day today. I enjoyed it because there was a whole load of funny stuff! :D There was an angel holding a torch, a mention of a will attaining by fire, a person throwing javelins, a scholar...etc. Only Fire Emblem fans should understand.

Anyway, our school had some weird idea of giving our founders day celebration the theme of "arete" which is a Greek war cry. War cry is interesting, but it meant transforming our school into a mini mount Olympus, complete with crowning of laurels and people posing as statues=one weird concert.

I STILL haven't gotten to play Maple yet... I can't wait! I'm stuck at lvl 26!!!!

I'm restarting Fire Emblem 7. I'm mass-training my final team (i.e. The lords, Karel, Lucius, Priscilla, Raven, Wil, Florina and Sain).

That's all I've got to say for now.

20.1.08

10.12.07

Back from a great journey

Finally, I am getting to blog again. I just came back from a holiday overseas, and I enjoyed myself a lot there. Shall tell you all about it!

We went to Bangkok first. The hotel there was the best, and I got to see the Loi Krathong festival (where they put the banana leaf lanterns into the river), and it was very interesting. We put in our own. The sky train system there is like Singapore's MRT, except that we had to buy tickets every time we took it. There were also a lot of roadside shops, and I bought a handmade notebook for drawing!

Then we went to Macau, you know, the one with all the casinoes. There was so much neon I could have blinded myself down there at night!!! Hotel not as good as Bangkok, but it was still nice, because the wind outside was so strong, and you know, strong wind makes me feel good. Haha! :)

After that, we went to Hong Kong! There's so many buildings there, more than Singapore. But the scenery from the top of the mountain is really really really wonderful. The wind up there's really cold too. I enjoyed it.
We went to Disneyland!!!! I saw LT's Mickey Mouse hat and gloves there, but didn't buy. Very cold that day. Temperatures reached 14 degrees Celsius. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well, I enjoyed myself!!!! So much!!!!!!! It was the best holiday ever!!!

Alright, I'm back now. And guess what? I FINISHED FIRE EMBLEM 7!!!!!! Including Hector Mode! I maxed out Karel, Marcus, Wil, Rath, Heath, Guy and Priscilla, and Karel (my favourite!)killed both Nergal and the Fire Dragon! He got A Support with Guy, so he criticalled (is there such a word?) the dragon. And killed it. With a lot of Wil's help, of course. Originally, Wil killed it, but I restarted, and I got Karel to kill it.

Anyway, as you may have noticed, I now have some links to fan sites in my sidebar. You can visit for fun, or if you are a fan, go join!

Oh yes, I can't play Maple anymore :((((((( My parents think it's too addictive. I am so SAD. boooooohooooooo...

Oh yes, about the wallpaper, I decided it wasn't good enough. So I started a new one... It'll probably be up in 1 month's time.

And anyway, if you want to read my fan fictions on the internet, visit this site.

Till next time!!!
